William Wade
Billy is a Senior at Loyola University Chicago majoring in Psychology (Class of ’26). His interest in brain and behavior began when observing the dynamics of his six-person nuclear family. Since then, he has been involved in numerous academic undertakings both in and outside the lab such as an independent project in the MNEME lab. He has also presented numerous times in journal club, at various international conferences such as SfN, and recently gave a talk at the LUC research symposium (URES). Coupled with lab work, Billy lives out his Catholic faith’s emphasis of charity through sponsored in-person dialogues and colloquia, such as his recent trip with the Loyola University Chicago Peace Delegation to Japan. He hopes to extend his Psychology studies in graduate school. He is also the undergraduate representative of the Loyola University Psychology Association (LUPA). Outside of university, Billy spends his time mountaineering.
Billy has been named a Mulcahy Scholar in both 2024 and 2025. He was also awarded the Outstanding Neuroscience Researcher Award and is an Alpha Sigma Nu member!
