Abhiram Thati

Abhi is a senior majoring in Cognitive/Behavioral Neuroscience at Loyola University Chicago. He has always been interested in trying to understand the link between brain physiology and behavior and how environmental factors play a role. He has lived in the suburbs of Chicago for his whole life, although he frequently visits Hyderabad, India where his parents are from. He has interests in dance, basketball, football, and any cuisine that he can get his hands on! He will be attending medical school next year, specifically pursuing a career in surgery. One of the things that drew him to lab life was that the dexterous nature of the work and the parallels between that and medicine. A fun fact about Abhi is that has never been to a wedding, so please give him an invitation if you see this!
